Our food station is a factory without a boss, for food producers, farmers and activists. Why? As a starting food producer it is difficult to get an innovative product on the market. Competition within major players, legislation, regulations and the low margins make developing an independent food product almost impossible.
But by working cooperatively, spaces can be shared, sourcing can be aligned and sales networks can be braided together. This reduces costs and allows competition with the current market. It allows farmers to start long lasting cooperations with food processors, packaging and residual flows can be adjusted to each other in a circular manner.
Are you a food producer looking for space or would you like to run this project already? From 2022 we will start with the renovation and we are looking for more makers.
