Roze Bunker is a soft drink brand that solves problems, instead of creating them. a fight against the big cartel brands with a positive impact on biodiversity and waste.
In 2016 we started in my mother's bathroom. The soft drink industry was a big problem for us: plastic pollution, unhealthy and completely illogical chemical ingredients. A problem that needed a solution. With the best tap water in the Netherlands, we concentrated flavor made from fruit waste and nature-positive ingredients. With the aim of reducing waste and taking on the impossible competition with big brands.
Each flavor of Roze Bunker has its own mission, as each ingredient has its own challenges in the industry. With wild iced tea, for example, we plant native herbs that are good for biodiversity. With the Citrus Movement we work on circularity within wasted citrus fruits, with the peel we make limoncello, the pulp soap and other sugar residues are fermented. Our Elderflower soft drink plants its own forest by investing the money in replanting elderflower cuttings and starting long-term partnerships with farmers. There are many more flavors with their own missions, look at Rozebunker.nl.
Roze Bunker now has its own flavor brewery in Culemborg, has planted trees on several parts of the Netherlands and works together with the industry to combat food waste. Check out the website to see one of the 400 places where you can drink Roze Bunker and thus support the positive impact of soft drinks.
I founded Roze Bunker together with Kester Scholten and Melanie Corre.
The current team consists of: Melanie Corre, Jeroen Groot, Tom van Stijn, Gido Mani, Miriam Groot, Lois, Sanne, Bertus Tulleners
