When all festivals were canceled due to corona. No seasonal workers were allowed to come to the Netherlands across the border to weed the farmer's land. We had a match. A perfect problem to bring the city dweller in touch with what is on his or her plate.Seasonal workers were set up in a short time and with Kester Scholten we built a team to tackle this problem as quickly as possible. Within a few weeks, dozens of people were working at various farms across the country. Seasonal workers are further developed to narrow the gap between consumers and agriculture. There are still many problems in this sector, such as underpaid people or poor conditions. Ultimately, the goal of seasonal workers is to grow into an educational platform with a broad impact.
